IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
ESL SafeAir 240-COE Carbon Monoxide Alarms Product Recall
Dear Customer:
Our records indicate that we recently installed in your home one or more ESL SafeAir 240-COE Carbon Monoxide
alarms. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the manufacturer of these Carbon Monoxide alarms is conducting an important voluntary safety recall of these devices because they will not properly detect
carbon monoxide after 1 year from installation/operation (the normal life expectancy of a detector is 5 years). The unit will appear to be operating normally but may not be protecting you.
Your participation in this voluntary recall program is important to help protect your safety. Please
contact us immediately and we will arrange a service call to replace your alarms, if the units fall under the recall, at no cost to you. For a copy of the Product Safety Notification, call the ESL SafeAir 240-COE Carbon Monoxide alarms
customer support team weekdays from 5am-5pm PST at 800-648-7422 or visit the website at: http://www.ge-interlogix.com/240COE
In order to schedule a replacement time please contact our office at (920) 969-9901 or
(800) 845-TECC (8322) during regular business hours, 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. If you would like, you may schedule a test and inspection of your security system at the same time (there will be a fee for this service).
We apologize for the inconvenience that this voluntary product recall may cause and thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Your safety is our highest priority.
